Hi, I’m Tiffany, mom to Elliot, and founder, curator, and creator of Hej Fox. This is my passion project after I left my former life as a NICU nurse to stay home with my IVF baby. That baby became a toddler before I could blink, and I became a mom on a mission. My mission was to find clothes that both I and Elliot enjoyed, while supporting brands that wouldn’t be providing those clothes at the high cost of sacrificing Elliot’s health and future in this world. I wanted to find brands that respect their employees from the bottom up and hold close the values of building a healthier and more just world for my son and his peers. I wanted to find clothing that is fun, colorful, and allows kids to be kids. I found these things in Scandinavian-style Euro brands, and I fell in love. This is the birth story of Hej Fox, but it didn’t end there.
As my love of ethical children’s fashion grew, so did my dreams. I was fascinated with the idea of making some of my own visions a reality. I first picked up a sewing machine in December 2020, and became determined to hone my confidence in order to share my vision with others. After hundreds of hours learning, practicing, and seeking constructive criticism, I now feel confident in sharing my work with my customers. Hej Fox has been a dream come true for me, and I plan to continue the dream as I launch Hej Fox Basics in Summer 2021.
I appreciate every one of you that has supported me in this dream. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing this journey with me.
